Oh Christmas Palm Tree!

I think this was the first year I was excited to decorate for presentmas. We got a palm tree from IKEA and decorated it. We got some new ornaments too, like the popcorn and red ballz. The red balls are unbreakable which means they're kitty safe, yay! I want to live in a house with a jungle inside... I love palm trees so much! Now I can't wait for presents. I just know I'm getting awesome gifts :]

Finals Week

So in preparation for finals next week, this week I'm going to be completely dead. No wonder they have that term "dead week". Need to finish my art history art critiques and travel journal, prepare my drawing portfolio and compile all of my projects, assemble my sketchbook and complete my final project for my basic design class. Such little time! I can't wait for the break.

I need to design a layout for this blog! I hate everything I've been seeing, ugh!

New Toy!

Tyler had an art project gone wrong and so I got these awesome skates to play with today! Too bad the weather is gnarly out, otherwise I'd try these puppies out on the concrete instead of my 5'x5' linoleum kitchen floor.

 I'm looking up more information on these skates, but I can guess they're from the 60's-70's because of the urethane wheels. Doesn't really matter when they were made, I'm just excited to try them out!

New Kitty!!

We added Frederick to our crew of kitties today. He's actually Albert's half brother and now Handy's new best friend. Seems like everyone is getting along. I can't wait for the winter so we can all be cuddly together! Well, not that it needs to be winter for that to happen, but even more of an incentive.

Today couldn't have gone any better!

Day Two

Tyler bought us a drafting table and nifty light today.
Along with that exciting event, the power went out this evening for a few hours, so we took the opportunity to escape to Powell's Books on Hawthorne for light and entertaining books. Found a few books to add to my Presentmas list.

Not a bad day.
